UK Rights Sold!

I just found out from my publisher that they sold the UK rights for my book at the London Book Fair, so David and Charles will be distributing it, they're adding 5000 copies to the second printing to cover it, and ordering a second printing right away (a little sooner than planned). Yay!

Thanks so much for all the congratulations! I also finally got a chance to look at the sales stats for the period ending December 2008. Even though it had been on sale only since Dec. 10, it was more than halfway to earning out the advance--in only 3 weeks! Since they're going to a second printing already, I'm pretty sure that the royalties will start coming in on the next statement. Yay! It's nice to have a new book released. And it's really nice for people to look at it and say how much they like it. But it's much, much better to actually make some money on it too.
