Brother, can you spare a dime.

I just paid my son five bucks for making a really big poop. (He's been constipated lately.)
AND
The two of us (plus his puppy) have been in quiet bliss for three weeks! YAY!

OK, who has been under my couch cushions???

Is there poop down there? Because if there is, I know who it was.

Wait... You taught your kid that he can get paid to poop???

This can't end well. :)

Mommy! Give me my $5 or I will not poop! Sounds very Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Characterish. Bloody Golden Ticket winning freaks!!!!!!!!!

No... my mom gave him 5 bucks for making a big poop a month ago (he'd been having anxiety about it) and this is the legacy. Plus, he is obsessed with cash.

You wait 'til your kid has an uncomfortable poop, and its repercussions. We respond with bribery. It may not be the best recourse for all, but the boy has enough issues on his plate right now.

Put prunes on his plate.

He eats prunes, and fiber choice (TM). At present, this is the least of our worries.

Does bribery also work on writers?

i.e. gimme $5 and I won't write crap :)

gimme $5 and I'll write you a dream.

Yes and yes! You know us!
We write our own dreams; that's what makes us us.

Wayne K

I'll write it for $4.

C.bronco

Don't sell yourself short; if a poop goes for 5$, yanno

C.bronco

Moreover, I have to say, my son and I moved out, and life has been 100% better since.
Poop not withstanding, we are both much happier.

Things can only get better, because I've had enough of worse. :D

Wayne K

I won't poop for less than $12.50

So, did you at least make him put it under his pillow and wait for the poop fairy to come?

I changed my hair once and no one knew who I was. Next time I shall wreak havoc as my alter ego: Stranger With Different Hairdo.

No one will know it was me who put salt in the sugar bowl.

I don't like most changes, unless it adds up to dollars. :)

If it's a really good mood I'm in, I'm against it.

Change is definitely good as far as socks and underwear go.

DL Hegel
04-28-2009, 12:09 AM
what if you wear neither?

Wayne K
04-28-2009, 12:13 AM
Then sit next to me.

Wayne K

It's also something you should talk about, y'know, get it out.

I fear change.

Even from a $100?

I have to say, I generally fear change too.
However I would be extremely happy if my kitchen burnt down. That's a change.
And I would be stoked if hubby quit smoking and didn't spend $80 a week on fags. That's a change too.
And I can't wait until nappy changing days are behind me. That would be a great change.

What was I talking about?

Change is good if you can anticipate the need for change before it forces you to react. Not changing when the situation demands is, of course, silly. Change for change’s sake is again silly. Some people demand change from other people they have control over, I’ve seen this a lot in the military. A kind of ‘piss on it and they know it’s yours’ thing. Adaptability is good for survival. A lot of people are in survival mode with this economy. I guess it all comes down to we do what we think is necessary to survive, right?

Change is bad, except when I happen to like said change.

Can't do that- the dog would just eat it before the fairy could come.

C.bronco

Some dogs make their own snacks- my mom's dog tries to eat her own poop. TMI?

Sweetleaf

Now I remember why I don't have a dog anymore!

Back on the original topic - I keep looking for loose change, but all I find is a conspiracy theory.

Wayne K

I hate the change that involves me wanting to change. It's too forced.

Susie

Change is good - 'specially when it comes to underwear. And change it often - PLEASE! :)
