Great fun. Reminded me of the cartoon.

I wish they'd done a little more at the point that Goku went all super-sayan on Piccolo.

Now at least I know why sometimes Goku has a tail, I think.

I don't know. It's all very weird and Japanese.

Chow Yun Fat was pretty good in it.

That thing looks terrible...don't wanna see it cause I'm afraid it might ruin good memories from my childhood.

It's out? *runs to check listings*

ETA: It is! Maybe a field trip next weekend.

I was the *only* person in the entire theater on a thursday night during prime time. It very well might not still be there next weekend.

It's too early to count as my first "summer" movie of the year, but it could in many ways be compared to The Forbidden Kingdom or whatever silliness Jet Li and Jackie Chan concocted early last summer.

That movie was hellabetter than Dragonball.

I actually rather liked the Forbidden Kingdom.

It was not the best movie effar, but it was far from bad.

Movies are always great fun 'cause you have popcorn :D

...And here I was hoping that there'd be no turning Super Sayan in the movie...

So, you didn't know why Goku had a tail...?

Don't worry, 'cause you're weird and probably American too, so it's all good :D

And Chow Yun Fat's always good in his movies.

Well, the internal climax of the movie is Goku vs. Osaru or whatever his inner demon is called, and he went total flame-on! when he realized he could exist as both. Then he and Piccolo had one last throwdown and then they had to use the dragonballs for their wish.

I think that's Super-Sayan mode, when he's all burning bright blue, right?

I watched a scene from this movie and my eyes started to spontaneously bleed, just like with the Uve Boll film, Postal.
