My mom got the Optimum Triple Play for our house; I'm pretty happy with it.
The internet is fast just like they advertise.
Every now and again, the cable box will give you "No Data" for your bottom of the screen TV guide type thing (i don't know what to call it). But normally it's fixed in a few hours and it's not usually on all the channels.
The only annoying thing is that they raise your rates like every year after the promotional period.
One way to fix that is when they higher your rates, complain and ask for the disconnect people (i don't know exactly what it's called). Threaten to drop their service if they can't give you a good deal. That got our family free HBO and STARZ for like 2 years for nine dollars LESS than what we were paying when we didn't get HBO.
