Here's a new opportunity I just learned about:
New Voices & New Visions of Transformation: An Anthology of Religious Writing from Rising Generations (a working title)
These critical times call us to ask: How are people in their teens through thirties (so-called "Generations X and Y") imaginatively, prophetically, and constructively transforming religious communities and wider society in the 21st century, an age of rapid change and global conflict? What are these generations saying about personal spirituality, theology, religious identity, activism, ministry, aesthetics, culture,
and religious community? What voices and visions will sustain and guide us?
This anthology of younger poets, creative fiction and non-fiction writers, scholars, preachers, cultural critics, and activists will benefit the FAITH YOUTH INSTITUTE, a dynamic leadership training program offered each summer by ANDOVER NEWTON THEOLOGICAL SCHOOL, the oldest Protestant graduate school in the country and an international leader in
theological education and transforming ministry for the 21st century. Located outside Boston, ANTS offers pioneering programs including Worship, Theology and Arts; Theology, Ministry, and Public Life; Global Christianity, Cross-Cultural, and Interfaith Ministries; and Faith, Health, and Spirituality.
