Getting ready to walk to the bank in very hot, steamy weather. I will have to drink tons of water first to prepare for my journey. If I don't make it back alive, it was nice knowing all of you.

Just finished the first draft of book two of my mystery series, so now I'm starting a children's book, just for a complete change of pace. I had a scathingly brilliant idea, so may as well take advantage of it!

I am changing my underwear at the moment. Check out the last two posts in the Civil Right Violation or Common Sense thread and you will find out why.

Now many of the ladies will probably want to know the answer to the question: boxers or tighty whities? ;)

Sorry about causing that, ahem, accident.

Well, I survived my long walk to the bank in the extreme heat.

Now I have to change everything, Brady.

Oh, and it is boxers.

A fireman, and you wear boxers? I think I'm in luv. My hubby's worried about the doctors, but I drool over the EMS crew much faster.

Tighty whities are more popular among firemen, but I prefer boxers. Most of the younger guys wear them now. Here is a funny anecdote.

One day I was caught with my pants down, literally. I am sitting on the John reading the newspaper when a call came in. So I jump up, pull my pants up, and walk over to the pole. As I grabbed the pole and prepared to slide down, my pants dropped. I had forgotten to zip them up and fasten my belt. So there I am sliding down the pole with my pants around my ankles.

That REALLY chafed. I was not the romantic sort for a few days.

Oh Thanks!!!

Now I have to make a post on this board (which I unfortunately have not read as much of as the bewares & background checks forum) 'cause I needed to find out about Brady's underwear and who Rob was and the reason for the interesting 'new post' thread title!
Thanks... Uh Hum!! You guys have a great way of making me have to write!!!! I guess that's a good thing.

I can't believe how many posts this thread has.

I am ... sipping a bourbon after writing 11 pages in my novel. That feels pretty good! And my husband is making me dinner [burgers], which makes it a very relaxing evening. And now off to find out what's brewing on the Harry Potter thread.

I live in the UK - we only have Yorkshire pudding and stiff lips (usually caused by the former).
'Clear' stuff - you mean ice?
Its ice on a stick?

This should explain all. Although we're all thinking of the classic "Super Twin" shape or the "Orange, Grape, Cherry" sticks. Both can be found on the "Fun 'n' Fruity" page. Some of the others are way over the top.

I feel for all you people in hot climates right now. We, of course, have the chilly summers by the Bay. Although it's been really nice here while it's hot everywhere else.

I'm sitting here in the "I Love Dad" boxers my son got me for Father's Day and one of my department T-Shirts, looking at my guitar case and wondering if I should get it out and play something.
