Was wondering if anyone has written a resume book? If so, was it successful? I'm currently employeed in the Human Resources field and the number of poorly formatted, badly written resumes we receive astound me. Some of them are from very educated individuals... so my current WIP is a resume book since I see a definite need for one that caters to federal employment.

Was wondering if anyone had success with theirs? I realize there are quite a few good ones on the market now, thought I try to add mine to the fray :)

Have you thought of expanding it into a 'Working in Federal Employment' book? I edited a 'Working in Advertising' book a few years back, which was part of a series of books about different industries. It detailed things like the different departments, the skills required, the sorts of tasks and responsibilities and also resumes.

Just a thought, of course. It might not be relevant or something you want to write. What I think made me think of it, though, was that I wondered if a Resume book specific to working in federal employment might be too specialised and therefore have limited sales potential. Then again, I guess federal employment is probably pretty huge in America, so maybe I'm wrong.

Good luck!
