Did you ever consider that Wile E. Coyote is a metaphor for the hero seeking the impossible dream (aka Roadrunner) as each of us does?

I've also heard people argue that the road-runner is Christ, and the coyote is the devil vying for our souls. That fits too, and contradicts nothing.
