Is it just me (merged with "Why") IMVU ad discussion

I think it's creepy, too. I just scroll down and ignore it, like I do for all adds.

Im just glad my daughter isn't in the room to see. She loves bratz!

What dolls? I see book publishing ads. What is that you're smoking devil?

I've been seeing this one all over the web lately. It's definitely got a high ick factor.

Maybe they're tracking us differently, and my cookies bring up other things. I keep refreshing this page but I only get the same three Google ads for publishing/vanity/pod/whatever printing.

I saw that today for the first time and did a double take, wierd stuff.

I got that ad constantly yesterday to the point where I had to scroll down every time I refreshed the page. (And yeah, the ad was still there.) All I needed was for my sons to walk in the room while I'm on AW.

"Mom, what website is THAT?!"
"What are they DOING?!"
"Wait til Dad hears about it, ha-ha!"
"And you said it's a writer's website!"

And now tonight those dolls or whatever are at it again.

Yeah, it's creepy enough that if the page hangs there I have to open a new tab in my browser to hide it until I can scroll down.

Shouldn't it be, INVU?

I've noticed those animated characters making out a few times. It's kind of cute, in a way. Better than seeing them kill each other, I guess.

I think they're kinda creepy myself. They're mechanical about it (der), and it's just icky as a result.

I, therefore, have to laugh at it.

I hadn't noticed the juvenile aspect. I'll have to take a closer look next time the ad cycles through.

What caught my attention the first time was that it appeared two females were necking. Or it could've been a guy and a girl. Either way, it reminded me of Japanese animation, which doesn't float my boat no matter how nice the weather.

Oh, it's definitely two gals going at it. They look weird, though. Can't put my finger on it exactly, but it has something to do with the movement...cruddy animation.

A bit creepy to open my browser on that page and see that banner hanging over. I try to scroll up quick, and one time I almost put tape over my screen. I'm such a wuss, I know...
