LOL. In Canada it's Saskatchewan that refuses to switch back and forth. So even if I have relatives there, I can never keep it straight whether it's a one or two hour difference, because it depends on the time of year.

I'm not sure whether this is still true, but in Indiana it was a county decision on whether the county observed daylight savings time, so you could go from one town to the next and be in a different time zone. My niece once missed a friend's wedding ceremony because she hadn't realized the time was different.

Oh man. That pretty much erases the whole point of time zones, which was to standardize time. I hope they put an end to that kind of craziness.
