Interesting Timing....

I just received a rejection for my novel from a small US press. Normally that would ruin my day, but five minutes earlier I received an acceptance for the same novel from a small UK press.

I finally got my yes.

Not posting any details yet, because nothing is finalized. All I know for sure right now is that they want it.

Congratulations! Fantastic news. Really takes the impact away from the US R, doesn't it? Also just shows you that the R's aren't always a reflection on the writing and often just the subjective nature of the business.
