Writer - medical condition?

I have an MC that already has three closely related illnesses they are struggling with, but I need another. The condition can last anywhere from one month to over a year (chapter breaks are great for flashing forward!).

My MC should be stuck at the computer, addicted to a forum due to this condition. She should enjoy hitting refresh more than writing 300 words. Basically, something to keep her from writing and at the computer. Oh, and if she tries to get away with pen and paper, she should get nervous twitches and wonder if anyone replied to that thread she was following.

Bonus if the condition causes insomnia and lots of posting around midnight.

If it helps, my MC spends a lot of time around animals.

Any idea what could cause such a condition?
