Who wins?

Team Forks or Team Santa Carla?

And who has the bigger hair: Robert Pattison or Jason Patric?

Pfft. Vampires are so overdone.

Werewolves. That's what it current. How anyone could choose a vampire over a werewolf is totally beyond me.

Sparklies.

Who cares?

Fine. I'll just go to the Roundtable and start a more furrycentric thread.

So now it's werewolves vs vampires vs dragons?
That does complicate matters.

Team Forks! Team Pissy-Teenagers wouldn't stand a chance, because they were bullies but children.

Catherine Deneuve as Miriam Blaylock in The Hunger. 40 different kinds of awesomeness that's too much for either to bear.

Lock. Thread.

It should really be between Buffy: TVS and Lost Boys since Twilight was a blatant, amateurish fan-fic rip off of Buffy (minus the slayer part) if there ever was one.

Not that some elements in BTVS were terribly original, either.

I think a deathmatch between Twilight and True Blood is more fitting, with True Blood the obvious victor.

I'm gonna be a typical dude here and say that Tru Elood wins, but only because Anna likes to get nekkid in True Blood.

SMG was never able to give us that pleasure on network TV.

Lost Boys win, hands down. Much better soundtrack. (Why the heck didn't Twilight use Blue October music? The author has stated that's the music she listened to writing the novel. Twilight's cheesy music was some of it's problem.)

I thought Twilight was hilarious, my family put in lines throughout the movie. It started with the very beginning, with the doe in the forest. 'Yum, food.' I commented.

Then they showed the town, starting at the bridge. I swear that's where they filmed Rambo, even the Police Station looked the same, 'cept they put up some cheap rough wooded siding to hide the modern structure.

Of course, that prompted lots of bad Rambo/Twilight morphed dialog.

When he took the mortal girl home to meet his family, as soon as he opened the door I called out 'Mom, Dad, DINNER!'.

It was a fun movie to watch, but I don't think we watched it quite the way the producers intended.

The constant cries of distress from my sixteen year old daughter made it so much better.

I don't think she's ever gonna forgive the rest of us.
