Friends is on the NYC map (http://danmeth.com/post/87262657/nyc-sitcom-map-3-in-a-series-of-pop-cultural).

But overall, it was kind of amusing.

Just because something is on TV does not make it a "sitcom":

Twin Peaks
Roswell
Baywatch
Magnum PI
Dallas
Matlock
Gunsmoke
Murder She Wrote

...these are not sitcoms, except in the ironic sense.

Where the hell is the Simpsons? :) I want to know where Springfield is!

Yeah, but I don't consider Punky Brewster or Friends sitcoms, either, but they're on the map...

Nothing in Tennessee on the map . . . but we do have the new Miley Cyrus movie!

Okay, never mind.

Well, son of a bitch!

They left out How I Met Your Mother, the only sitcom I ever liked!

It's everywhere and nowhere all at once. Like Elvis Presley.

This is the only sitcom I watch today...10 years ago there were quite a few good one. Now most are crap. And I have to steal this pic....Barney is the best!!

There have never been many rural sitcoms and a lot of those had non-specific locations, such as: Green Acres, Petticoat Junction, and Dukes of Hazzard. Can anyone think of more with non-specific USA locations?

Green Acres was near Hooterville, which was across the bridge from Pixley.

Good map, but I'm way more impressed he has a personalized drawing from the guy who made Adventure Time. Algebraic!
