There are at least a couple of way to do it.

This is probably the easiest. Go to Edit Signature. Type in the words you want others to see on the screen. On that part of the line you want to be active (hyper), highlight the text and then click Insert Link from the toolbar (it looks like the world with a piece of chain). It will then ask you for the link. That should do it.

If you have any trouble doing it, come back and I'll give you more step-by-step instructions if needed.

I dare say this is already hidden somewhere in the bowels of Tech Help or FAQs forums:

How to add a url info:
http://absolutewrite.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode#url

...and, bonus:

How to add an image info:
http://absolutewrite.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode#imgcode

Note that you can make your sigline pic "active" by putting it inside the url tags, so if folks click on the pic they get taken to your website, e.g.

[ url="http://yourwebsite.com"][ SIGPIC][/SIGPIC][/url]

(Remove the spaces before the [ brackets, which I had to insert to stop the board software from executing the tags.)

Edit: and I just found out by accident -- you can insert text between the sigpic tags that will display whenever anyone hovers their mouse over the pic, e.g.

[ url="http://yourwebsite.com"][ SIGPIC]Come visit my website![/SIGPIC][/url]

An e-mail from here, or from something like your regular Outlook Mail?

alleycat's instructions should do the biz -- usually you'd select your email signature option and type your desired text, e.g.

Fallen - coming soon from Lyrical Press

Now click-drag-highlight "Fallen" -- then select the little blue planet "link" icon -- fingers crossed, a pop-up box should prompt you to type or paste in your URL, including the http part.

Your email software should invisibly merge the URL you provided with the highlighted text so "Fallen" becomes a selectable link.

Edit: one of these days I'll post faster than alleycat... one of these days...

On Outlook you have the same Insert Link option on the toolbar.
