I run a blog called Fantasy Debut, and it's reasonably popular, with an estimated 100,000 visits a year. I don't review self-published books there, but I do have a program to help self-published authors publicize their books.
The biggest problem I see self-publishers having is that people are unwilling to take a chance on their work. With my Discovery Showcase program, I will post the first chapter of your novel, up to 2000 words. That way, people can get a taste of your work, decide if they like it, and if they do, go out and buy it. (My post also includes a way to purchase your novel.) I've had authors tell me that they have had a jump in sales/downloads after their work appeared at Fantasy Debut.
Here is my latest Discovery Showcase. And here is the link on how to enter.
(I hope it's ok to post this here.)
