I am VERY pleased to announce that I have accepted a three-book deal from Berkley/Roc (imprint is still undecided). A Devil in the Details (formerly known as Third Strike and possible shiny new title coming soon) is due out in the summer of 2010, with two sequels to follow as soon as I can scribble them down.
I want it noted that I had no industry contacts prior to querying this novel. My agent plucked me out of his inbox, and found an editor who is as enthusiastic about this project as I am. Despite the economy and all portents of gloom and doom, debut authors ARE getting deals. It can happen to you!
