Follow up to make sure full was received?

A few weeks for a full is too soon. I'd wait at least a month and maybe then some. The last thing you want to come across as is pushy.

Yes, I always e-mail the next day but don't always expect a reply. The last agent never responded so I see that as a red flag. If they can't be bothered to reply w/ a simple yes or no re: a REDQUESTED full, then I'm not sure I want that person as my agent.

If it's a hard copy, I like to send Priorority mail (flat rate box) online so you get a del conf #. Good luck!

I'd often include a line when I sent the full saying something like "If you wouldn't mind just sending me a quick reply to this so I know you got it okay, I'd really appreciate it."

I don't think a single one ever failed to reply. Usually just "Got it!" and that was all but it was all I needed, so...
