And . . . there is always some bathroom invention.

I used to watch that American Inventor show when it was on TV a couple of years ago. It seemed like every other invention was something to do with a toilet or bathroom. I guess sitting there with nothing else much to do gives people time to come up with what they think is a clever idea. One of the judges finally refused to even consider any more toilet inventions.

The bathroom workdesk is ingenious. I also like the double-neck flask, the coffee cup with cookie slots, and the stair drawers.

Why don't people make things like those for real?

I saw a house once where they had built in drawers at the side of the stairs. Often there's a closet under a staircase (sometime even a half bath), but this made use of the lower part of the stairs which is usually dead space.
