Hi, I have Microsoft Works for Vista. I have a Header on every page with page numbers and other info.
Anyway, Staples can't open Microsoft Works files from my flash drive. So I saved everything in Rich Format which they were able to open. Well, after it's printed there is no header on any page and the format is all screwed up (chapters starting in the middle of a page, etc.).
Anyway to save the work so it comes out how it should at Staples?
Thanks

You might have luck with Save As --> .doc (the newest version/year listed if you get that choice), if you have not tried that. Unfortunately, MS is getting less and less compatable with Works.

There may be shareware out there that can convert them. I'll see if I can find any.

Open Office might, it can deal with a lot of M$ file types and formatting. RTF format doesn't do headers, or a lot of other things.

IMO Works has great suckage. If you were my neighbor, I would bring you over a nice cuppa Word ;)

There may be some online converters -- try a search for "convert msworks word" or something like that.
