I've been reminded that the second anniversary of a sad time for our family is barreling up on us and it prompted me to dust off, for the new blog, something I'd written after the funeral.

It's not so specific that, in the right mood, some of you couldn't appreciate it too, maybe.

So, if you feel like it -

Thanks guys. I was surprised, like I told Trish, how strongly this came back to me today. I appreciate you stopping by.

Where am I?
Great written! I couldn't write anything after funeral, I'd be smashed.

It was one of those things that kind of wrote itself. I knew as I was leaving the service what I wanted to say the next time I got to my machine.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting.

That was very powerful. Thanks, Perks.

I lost a young friend last year. She died in a horrific car accident. Her name was Theresa.

For a moment, I thought you were writing about her funeral.

A loss that wasn't expected is quite a different experience from one you had warning of. It's not that there's less grief in a slower death, it's just parceled out differently.

Thanks for reading.
