Let's compile a list!

1) Audacious
2) Audacity

(Seriously, these two words are EVERYWHERE now and it really needs to stop.)

3) Stimulus
4) Bailout
5) Change
(I prefer "reboot")

Feel free to add.

Antidisestablishmentterrianism is one I'm getting tired of.

It's really not important for me to know how to spell it. I don't use overused words.

My brother has a page online, and he is Andydisestablishmentarianism.
:D
(My other brother goes by Kenfusion. I think my screen name doesn't measure up.)

In my house, a particular member says "legit" all the time, e.g. "I had some ravaioli and it was legit the best I ever had. It was mad good."

It's not seriously overused, is it? I thought you were kidding.

I went to school with a dude who used this word consistently in a drinking game. He thought it was hilarious. In actuality, not so much.

Lurking somewhere in dark places...
bailout

* ETA: *blush* ... it's already on the list. It's still my word of the year, anyway.

* ETA again: "concerning" to mean "disconcerting"

Nothing wrong with ly words per se. Using too many is the problem, or using them to modify weak verbs (he walked slowly and confidently) instead of finding a stronger verb (he sauntered) is usually the problem with ly adverbs.

I only use it when I'm being a jackass, and we all know what a rare treat that is.

Incentivize.

Weirdass use of grow. "This is how we'll grow the program."

Best practices.

"Blank"--centered. Person-centered. Family-centered.
