Now, see, this is how you do a poll right. Put Orlando Bloom on there and everybody's happy. :D

Seriously, all of those threads are tempting me to run away screaming.

Or to start singing.

"The hills are aliiiive...."

Hey, what's everybody got that club in their hands for? And why are you looking at ME like that?...

ETA - Just what exactly is a petard, and how does one hoist someone by it?

TerzaRima
02-27-2009, 09:50 PM
It's hoist by one's own petard, not hoisted.

A petard was a kind of old school bomb filled with gunpowder, I'm going to say circa
17th c. maybe.

Kids, this episode of Sesame Street was brought to you by the number Pedantic Painintheass.

I thought it was akin to a leotard or lederhosen. I was enjoying the image of an Austrian nincompoop being hoisted on high by his lederhosen. I sit corrected.

it has come to mah attention that in order to conduct this here poll you started a new thread... does that mean you will abide by the outcome of said poll and we will enjoy seeing said outcome live on vid cam? The answer to this has much to do to sway how I shall vote... so I said...

I did not answer the poll due to valuing my privacy, However, I did find the "complemented for their good taste" option to be amusing. What would be the complement for one with good taste? One with bad taste?

Or perhaps the pollster meant to ask if such posters should be complimented? Ain't he cute? He's my little Atlas.

but i am a bringer pusher of joy and you are my addicted legion.
You know I smoked a lot of grass.
Oh Lord, I popped a lot of pills.
But I've never touched nothin'
That my spirit couldn't kill.
You know I've seen a lot of people walking 'round
With tombstones in their eyes.
But the pusher don't care
If you live or if you die.
