Clydesdale. Cause that's how big he's gonna get. Look at those feet!

I'm a big sucker for names that tend toward the nerdy-chic end of the spectrum. How about Floyd? Or Gunther?

Tiny.

Shortstuff.

Littlebit.

Little John.

Smalley.

Puddles (puppies tend to leave those and name themselves)

Or you could go with:

Pete

Or yo could go a different tack with:

Jaws

Killer

Brutus

Maneater

(that all depends on your neighbors)

Excellent ideas all! (Well maybe except Larry- hehehe)

I am the designated animal namer at my house and this guy has me stumped- I have some time though, we can't bring him home until the end of March, would you believe he is just shy of 4 weeks old in that picture?

His daddy weighs in at a svelt 180 lbs- Mom is 165 pre- pregnancy!

Credit Crunch is right- the parents' owners says it costs him 200$ a month to feed the two of them- I can't wait! We have always wanted a Mastiff and he is not registered so we got him at a very reasonable price! (He is a pure-blood though- owner just never registered the parents)

Thanks so much for the suggestions- keep them coming!

Call him George --- but then I'm prejudiced.

Cute puppy.
