Are there any other pantomime writers floating about here? My friend George and I have written two of them. They were initially written for the village drama group but we've managed to get them published since then.
I once tried to explain our village Panto to some American visitors.
They got as far as the Principal boy being played by a woman and the Dame being played by a man. After that, they dismissed it as something for perverts!
Never mind the genre, there is nothing - NOTHING - worse to listen to than bad comedy. If only because it's next to impossible to mock rather than just crying at.
