Was talking to a frenetic mom/fulltime writer friend of mine yesterday. She told me that she was telling her mom (in a phone call) about her crazy day, going up and down the same main road near her countless times for kids, errands, exercise, whatever. And her mom said to her, "My goodness, Wendy, you sound just like that woman who wrote about going over the same six roads nine times a day in that oped a couple of weeks ago." I started to laugh so hard that I cried as my friend started to laugh hard too and said she said to her mom, "Mom, that's my friend Jill who wrote that!!"

This story even had my husband laughing so hard he had tears in his eyes, not an easy feat.

Wow - nice to know someone read - and remembered - what I wrote.

this is a relief, since maybe now it won't freak you out to know that i print out every post you make and clip them and paste them on my "jill shrine" wall.

I think that would freak me out in a different way. But ok - shrine, schmine. What the hey? Do you need better pics of me?

William - I hate admitting this, especially if my husband ever becomes an AW lurker, or worse, a bona fide AW board member, but, well, I never leave my home - for anything - I'm always here, posting, reading posts, private messaging or - egads, writing bad poetry.

So is she cute - the woman you're following?

OK - Ok - I admit it - that WAS me. (and you look excellent in fishnets, I might add - could you make the stilletos higher though? that would do more to accentuate your chest, you know)

Jill,

I would love to read your road story if you care to share. I write about my family life and my children's antics as well. I can relate.

Thanks,

Selena

Hi Hockey - I have to check, but the link to the op-ed might be dead now. That was the piece of work about which I started this thread. Are you interested in reading that? My regular column appears as Mommy Matters at www.clevelandakronfamily.com in their current or archived issues section.
