I chose winter. Since it's winter where I live, I've been adding a lot of weather detail to my WIP, and it's given me a thought or two which doesn't fit my WIP but I hate to waste, you know?

I would never discourage someone from writing. The prompt is intended as a stimulus. It's also meant to help us grow as writers. I've put gay up twice and been perfectly willing to come up with something for the topic, even though it's not my thing. I figure it will be a place for me to learn.
