Chase men.

WHAT?!?

Okay, serious answer:
Write in a journal about whatever is bothering me, dance, laugh with my friends, yank weeds out of my yard, clean my house, and other stuff which I can't remember. But, those are the top activities which work for me. :)

Ride obnoxious horses. Not as relaxing as riding calm, sweet, quiet horses, but beggars can't be choosers.

And I hang out here :)

breathe.

take deep deliberate breathes and then focus only on the things you have direct control over.

Yoga, working in the yard, sex, primal screaming...

If none of those work, I go to the old standby: vodka. :)

I don't know. Usually I'm the stress people are trying to get rid of.

Write.
Cook.
Take granny naps on the sofa in the afternoons.

Oh, and, must remember to change my e-mail address so no one at work can stress me out when I'm off sick.

Okay okay, seriously.

I go to the gym and blow off some steam in the weight room. In moderation, of course. I actually almost hurt myself one day when I was trying to work out to distract myself from a friend's death...overdid it, big time.

I also write, futz around on Photoshop, go out and take pictures, spend time with my cats, read....pretty much anything that engages my brain on something OTHER than whatever's stressing me out.
