In reading Steve Martin's latest biography, he mentions a love of Lewis Carroll's strange, and, I think, utterly fascinating word puzzles. I was just wondering if anyone on here was familiar with them, and if you'd like to have a go making some up?
To get us started, here're a couple Carroll wrote:
All men are mortal
Socrates is a man
------------------
Therefore, Socrates is mortal
All babies are illogical.
Nobody is despised who can manage a crocodile.
Illogical persons are dispised
---------------------------------------------------
Therefore, babies cannot manage crocodiles
EDIT: Ah nuts, sorry, can someone move this into the writing games forum? Thank you!
