Agent with no website

Can anyone advise me how to find out background info (biography, client list etc) about an agent who has no website?

Is Google the only answer? :Shrug:

(It is a UK agent, by the way.)

Google, Publisher's Marketplace, Writers Market, client research...etc.

If you can't find anything on the agent after exhausting those four, perhaps it's time to remove the agent from your query list?

Not with a UK agent.
Many of them still don't have websites or report their sales in places like Publishers Marketplace.

Thanks guys. I'm sure he's legit because he's listed in all the directories, but none of the listings tell me much about him.
