How does one get MS Word 07 to tell you how often a given word appears in a manuscript? I know there must be a way to do this, but I haven't found out how yet. (I can replace words, and find words, but not get a number as to how often a word has been used.)

Do a "find", then hit the down arrow under "Reading Highlight" and select "Highlight All". It will tell you how many times it highlighted the word.

ETA: You can use the same process to "Clear Highlighting" after you're done.

At risk of being obvious, if you have favorite phrases, you can search for the phrase the same way. It's a good way to clean up your little idiosyncrocies.
