View Full Version : Writer's Survey on Peer Critique

01-16-2009, 11:29 PM
Hi all! I'm not sure what area to post this!

I'm a writer--I'm agented (by the fabulous Janet Reid), and working on my 4th novel.

I'm also finishing up my Master's degree in Technical Communication, with the thesis, "Online Critique of Creative Writing: Best Practices". My project goal is to study how critiques of creative writing are handled--by peers--in online writing groups and write an article with my results, illustrating the best practices.

Please take a minute, if you can, to answer a few questions for my survey on peer critique. (Absolute Write is one of the choices!) All writers, all levels welcome.

Thank you, nevada!

And you know, I don't want to make it a competition or anything...but AW is totally ahead as the site of choice so far. :)

So, are we going to be able to get a gander at this paper when you're done?

Thanks so much to those who responded! The survey will be open until Friday, if you haven't yet. I am getting some excellent data and comments.

DeleyanLee: If the paper is accepted for publication, I'll absolutely post a link to it here when it comes out. Of course that might be a while. :)
