Agorism FTW!
Great idea for a daily column, Ed. I particularly liked the 1919 event. I wonder how many pancakes it would have taken to save the town?

*Walks off, scratching numbers on the back of an envelope, muttering to himself.*

Pfft. Just this past weekend I had a guy blow a .58% who was brought in by police after they followed him for 20 miles down a winding country road trying to get him to pull his motorcycle over. Of course, he wasn't wearing a helmet either.

I would like to add to this day in history:

2010: The ER where I work had so few patients that I got off work an hour early without begging. Now, that's a record for ya.

Fun thread.
