Short Story Accepted!

Well, in addition to good news regarding the P&E reader's poll, I also have some great news regarding an acceptance for another of my recent short stories, "Lifeline." Just working out a glitch with the auto-generated contract...and will definitely let everyone know when it comes out.

I think some of you around here may have been betas for that story...promises to be a great one!

Thanks, though this is actually my first short story acceptance in many months. My last good news with a short story (other than the P&E nomination) was when "Obedience" was published in September...that's a long drought, at least in my eyes.

And according to my tracking spreadsheet, I only have a 29% success rate. FAIL!

Not sure how hard I've worked, but it sure has taken a long time. Just checked the stats, and looks like I started this one back in August...and went through four other outlets.
