I know I'm excited when anybody I know gets an acceptance envelope, 'cause then I know it can be done.

I'm also excited at the release of a movie that looks like it might be really, really good.

I don't want to be seen as a braggart, but since Susie asked...

I was excited when I sold a short story, even though the pay wasn't much. I got far more excited when I was contacted by the publisher and asked for more, more, more, and did I have any novels, or ideas for novels. Uh, yeah...

Mine is - you know you're excited when you find out that:
1. One of your favorite bands from your teenage years is still together
2. They're working on a new album, tentative release date next month
3. The guitarist who you had such a crush on (and was a cutiepie at thirty) is now seriously, majorly, totally smoking HAWT at fifty-four....
