When I was a kid, I remember being amused by a collection of very simple line drawings that were interpreted in a humorous way. Here are a couple of examples, the only ones I can remember:

The first is a fat man smoking in a pipe, lying in a waterbed, and the second is a soldier and his dog disappearing around a corner. There were a whole bunch of them, but I don't remember how I was introduced to them. Does anyone else remember these or have any idea whether they're on the web somewhere? I have Googled all the wording combos I can think of with no results.

At least I, too, have seen such puzzles, but I have no suggestions for a combination of words that might lead to them in a search.

The magazine that comes with our Sunday paper is crap, but it routinely includes a sort of offshoot of such puzzles. I've just recycled and don't have one handy, but this weekend I'll check the name of the column and see if it offers any further means of search.

Maryn, who remembers one that was an ironing board for a pregnant woman
