Ok this being New Year's Eve, who's totally drunk here? :e2drunk:

No I'm not yet, but I'm opening a bottle of wine as I type this.

I'm stone cold sober and at home alone.

Haven't been drunk in ages and if it makes me a bad person to say I miss the feeling, so be it. But it's been a good few months.

I'm waiting to see if I need to go near the Crown Royal to feel tipsy tonight. As it stands, the fever is doing a good enough job on it's own.

I'm getting there, it's only a matter of time now :D

Ok, that's one bottle of Chardonnay down... feeling no pain...

Not me.

Then again, that's a good thing. I'm ordering ebooks. I don't want to order ebooks drunk, or I'll end up buying too many. I already get too many when I'm sober.

I think I do have some of the good stuff upstairs. But I'll be just as happy with my frozen Oreo-flavored drink. Caffeine and sugar, maybe a hot bath with a vanilla bath fizz and some yaoi or a thriller or romance or an old Dean Koontz novel...

Too bad reading in the shower is so hard...

I would be drunk, but we're all out of alcohol. Oh yeah, and I'm still sick from earlier today.

It's not that bad. You can't rinse your hair or anything, but you can wash yourself from the midriff down. Just lean forward and hold the book as far away from the water as you can. It'll still get splashes on it and stuff though.

Oh, don't do it if your clumsy. I've dropped my books in water like, three times.

Who's drunk right now? Me.

It's a nightly ritual. No need to wait for some stinking special occasion to get drunk when you have all year to partake. Slackers!

Seriously, I don't drink as much as people think. I drink WAY more than that...

I just got home for the night, three hours before midnight. I don't want to be hit by a drunk barhopping or whatever...

ETA: And as "they" say, I haven't had a drink in "a few twenty-four hours." I'm gonna have to scan and post that Grapevine letter where I wrote that.

I'm not drunk, but I have Char-as-ma!

I also have three beers in the fridge and either LOTR or Harry Potter waiting for me to turn on the DVD player.

Happy New Years to all!

The year of the ox is at hand.

DH came back with a lot more than OJ and grenadine. :D Right now, I'm having a SoCo and lime. Then, maybe, an apple martini. Then, a Sloe Comfortable Screw, and then a Tequila Sunrise.

Or something. No particular order.

Woot!

Oh, I've got two hours to drink those drinks, at least. That's not a recipe for a hangover, even for a lightweight like me. I'll be up at 7:30, as usual. :D

Later, B! Enjoy the movie!

I actually only got through three drinks, so I'm perfectly okay that way. I'm just tired from being up a little too late. *wink*

Happy New Year!

...drinking is a fine recreational activity, but it can be addictive and wreck havoc on the lives of drinkers and their loved ones. So you might want to think twice about picking up a bottle, everyone. There are many other ways to have fun and enjoy festive occasions that are just as satisfying.
