You can delete this thread later, but I didn't want you to miss this historic moment . . . I have a bird in my avatar. I'm a changed man! No more threatening to eat our fine feathered friends, no more recipes featuring braised or roasted fowl, no more wise-cracks about the foolishness of letting birds fly around uneaten, no more fried chicken . . .

Wait, what did I just say? No more fried chicken? Hmmm . . . let me get back to you about this.

I hope you put a bunny rabbit in that avatar, too. No more threatening to shoot them.

Maybe I'm blind. But I don't see a bird or a bunny with that cat.

I'm not blond, and it took me a while to spot the bird.

Generally I notice immediately when somebody pops me the bird. I must be getting old.

There was a bunny . . . but I ate him. "Wabbit, the other white meat."

I guess I need a bigger bird . . . and a rabbit. Maybe a couple of squirrels and a dancing chimpanzee as well.

For heaven's sake, no. Parrots are not wild game

Parrots go to the big Tyson plant where they're referred to as "miniature Cornish game hens".

By the way, Anne, you are more than welcome to tidy up the forum and delete this whole thread. I was just having a little fun and thought you and a few others might enjoy playing along.

;-)

Squawked the parrot . . . nevermore.
