Sex relieves tension and headaches. It provides relaxation that induces good sleep. It brings warmth to a relationship and can thwart feelings that lead to arguments.

Having it makes one crave it more (IMO). The bounty is greater for the cycle continues in the positive if one has it (sex).

I cannot imagine why, given these things, anyone would say they are "not in the mood".

Barring, of course, medical issues.
