I finished!!!!!

I have finished my book! I am sort of . . . well really really shaky and stuff (probably due to the lack of sleep), but I did it!!!! It was so very hard, a totally new genre for me, both age wise and . . . genre . . .wise . . .and at times I wasn't sure I would get it done.

But I did. And I feel so relieved and happy.

And now I go have lunch . . .

Thanks guys! It is such a relief, such a weight off my shoulders (I actually do feel lighter). I've had this novel hanging around my neck since just before this summer. The last few days were killer. Up till midnight last night, then awake again at 6am. Man I am happy I had a chiropractic appointment this afternoon. Perfect timing.

I am, of course, terrified what my agent is going to think, and even if he does like it there will be many changes to be made I have no doubt. But today I am celebrating!

Update on my situation: Last night went out with some writing girl friends to celebrate the launch date of one of their books, and my finishing writing mine. So much fun! Today, I slept in this morning, no setting the alarm clock. Now I am on the internet without feeling guilty that I should be writing instead. It's awesome!!! (I am going to enjoy every moment of this, because I know it isn't going to last . . .)
