self-publishing?

All your age means is that you parent must co-sign the contract whether you use a publisher or a self-publisher/printer.

So don't tell them you're 15 when you send in your query/manuscript. If they want to publish you, they won't care. (Although they might be a bit surprised if it's one of Veinglory's publishers... ;-))

Don't mention your age when you query. Your book will be judged by its merits. If they like your book enough to publish it, your age is irrelevant (except your guardians must sign for you).

I completely agree with Maestro. There's no reason to put you age in a query letter.

Quite so, I sometimes have to mention my age because I write adult material, but for mainstream genres I never mention it--well, a lady doesn't, does she?

They won't have to know. All you need to do is send in a querry letter or manuscript, depending on the publisher. If it looks like something an adult would have written, they won't care even when they do find out your age.
