View Full Version : What are you going to have for your last meal?

There's more than one website that lists the last meal requests of condemned prisoners. Of course, only a sick puppy would visit such a place (http://deadmaneating.blogspot.com/).

Naturally it got me wondering.

If you were riding the injection train tomorrow, what would you want to have tonight for your final meal?

Pizza . . . or a Porterhouse steak about 2" thick.

Although I might not really be all that hungry at the time . . .

I would have Prime Rib. With cherry cheesecake, and a loaded baked potato. Oh, and cheese fries with ranch dip. And all the tequila I could stand to drink.

Maybe some CheezIt's, too. Depends on how much time I had to eat. :D

Seven years? Really? No, it's okay--I'll wait....

well, right at this moment, i have me a huge hankerin' for some chile rellenos. Oh, plus some pico de gallo and chips. *num num*

arroz y friloes refritas tambien, por favor - that is if, it's not too much trouble.

"did you just say you recommend the flan for dessert. ok, you've convinced me. i'll try that, too."

When I was younger I had asked myself this question and had decided that for my last meal I would ask for something incredibly hard and difficult to find and ask for it to be prepared in a way that only one chef knows how to do it, and that chef is coincidentally on his death bed. I figured it would buy me some more time, however now, just give me a poisoned apple and call it a day!

I think I'm going with a seafood spread:

6 sea scallops, two wrapped with prosciutto, brushed with olive oil and grilled over a charcoal fire and four lightly breaded and pan fried.

18 jumbo shrimp, pan fried.

1 two pound lobster, steamed, with drawn butter.

12 little neck clams on the half shell with hot sauce, lemon, salt, pepper and horseradish sauce.

Oh. And half a turkey and three pounds of sage stuffing for dessert, along with 2 pints of cranberry sauce.

And a chocolate malted to drink--double malt (can't drink booze in prison).

An all-you-can-eat buffet, Chinese probably. And they'll never execute me, because I'll keep going back for refills.

Yeah, can't go out with a smile on your face. Or puking on the doc, I guess.

Oh, I forgot. Chinese too. Yeah. Gotta have some of that. And Japanese as well. At least some sushi.

They're about to kill me. I'm supposed to care about puking on the doc why?

If I were like MacGyver in the old TV show, I would order a last meal that would enable me to use the various incredients to produce a sleep inducing gas, fill the room with a dense smokescreen, and (along with using a tin cup and an unfiltered cigarette) create a small explosive device capable of blasting a hole in the prison wall. Oh, and also a brownie because I was hungry.

I'd probably want some fried frog legs, chinese, and some sort of mexican dish and a huge margarita. Then I'd top it off with a slice of cheesecake. Then I'd probably be puking my guts out and feel so sick I'd want to die!:D

I'd have new potatoes, purple sprouting, and roast lamb with loads of gravy.

This is one I have to think about. I might go with a small seafood starter and then ease into an all dessert dinner. Chocolate mousse dome, with a layer of salted caramel crunch. Pistachio cake, covered in chocolate ganache, served with pistachio ice cream. Strawberries with chantilly. Port soaked pears with a balsamic reduction, served with vanilla bean ice cream.

Oh dear. Let me think about this one...

We were, which is why the whole Big Mac meal mention was so surprising.
