Science should have no limits, beyond accurately exploring Reality.
Fiction should have no limits at all.
Where those lamentable limits are imposed by the limits of human Imagination or tolerance -- both Science and Fiction should not respect those limits, no.

I'm not sure what happened here, but nothing in this thread presently has anything to do with science fact. For that matter, there isn't much here with any merit for the main SF/F discussion forum.
