Every now and then I will be scanning the entire list of thread titles on a sub-forum, and I might happen upon a thread with some special little symbol tacked onto it. And I mistakenly think that the symbol means the thread has been awarded a medal of honor of some kind. But then on closer examination, I realize that the thread is actually a total dog.
