I just have to share this recording of a 911 call made by an irate woman who's upset that Burger King made her hamburger wrong. A police emergency? OMG! You have to hear it to believe it. (http://www.911callers.com/play.php?filename=911burgerking.mp3&title=Messed%20Up%20Burger%20King%20Order)

What amazes me is that this woman is a mother. Who would marry someone like this? This is a good example of "What part of 'no' don't you understand?"

I can't bear to click on it. I know I'll cringe so hard I'll turn myself inside out.

Meanwhile, this lady is tying up the line while someone with a real emergency is trying to get through.

How disgusting.

Take the asshat to the poison control center, to the burn ward, to the ER just after a massive vehicular pile up and ask how proud she is for bitching over a burger when real people need real help. Then slap her. Hard.

Leno does this occasionally where he will play 911 calls on air. The totally daft ones.

For instance:

911 cell call from woman in her car. INSIDE her car. She claimed she was locked in her car and had dropped her keys through the open window (or some such) and could not get to them. And she needed to have the police rescue her. Now she was panic stricken. And, did not catch on, until the 4th or 5th time the 911 operator told her to simply pull up the lock mechanism or open the door - I mean since she was inside and all....

That was funny.

There was also an irate Taco Bell caller wanting the police (via 911 call) to come and get her $1.09 back for she felt she was due that refund. And, she was nasty to the operator until the operator finally had to hang up.

Sad thing is, real calls may go unanswered for these...

And here I thought the solution to bad food was to eat somewhere else next time.
