I've taken over the research library for a group that I belong to. It's about two bookshelves worth of books. The problem is some of the books are very old paperbacks (50 plus years old.) They are so dusty and musty that I can't read them without sneezing. If any one in my group has asthma, then they are going to be out of luck. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can safely clean them or remove the dust and other allergens that are sticking to the pages?
Before you suggest it; no, I can't get rid of them and I can't replace them either.
