At the end after 20,000, what now?

riteideas

Well, I've written 20000 words of my kids book and I'm on the last chapter. I kinda like the story and it's la good length for a kids book but I'm well short of the 40K.

There's no way I'm going to be able to hack out another 20k in the remaining days.

Am I allowed to work on another story or do I have to have 40k for this one?

I'd say you're all right doing multiple works... just paste down all the works' words into the word verification counter at the end of the month to get your tally.

I'm with Deek here, only you need another 30k to officially "win." (Note that in my estimation, you've already won, having completed the work you set out to do.)

Start another story. That would be my advice.

oooohhh, I wonder why I thought it was only 40k.

Don't go to the website much and I did this a few years ago and the beers and late night are having a fight club affect on me. "I wake up and I'm in a different place." I'll plan better next year.

Where the hell is Marla?

Human sacrafice anyone?

Damn, I just noticed I named one of the kids in my book Tyler. I have to stop read that damn book.
