I posted this elsewhere in response to another topic, but I think it deserves it's own thread...

Here's a unique approach:

This is Delilah, the radio personality, trying to get on David Letterman to pitch her new book, Love Matters.

Frank!

That was very interesting...

And the wild thing about it, is
that just may work even though
it wasn't all that amazing or out
of the ordinary.

She gotta tell her bazillion listeners
to watch it so it can move up in the
viewership rating because it's still
quiet. :)

Frank what do you think about it?

Have an awesome week!

I've seen her write my name with her feet a few times. It never ceases to amaze me, really.

I'm not sure she did the video as much for her listeners as hoping someone in the Letterman group would hear about it...and maybe to get a chuckle out of the folks at Harlequin who obviously want her to promote the heck out of the book.

Thank you for taking the time to look at the video.

Her 10.5 million listeners will help any book's sales and I hope, one day, that will include mine. Please take a look at my query thread.

It's already dying on the vine.

Thanks.

Frank,

I shared this video with my
community and many just
don't see the brilliance it! :)

And then she turned off the
ability to embed it throughout
the web which put a halt on
making it viral.

She has her reasoning!

I read your query and I like it. I would
suggest opening it with a question.
Question have the power to pull and
draw you in. May be there's a life
changing question your character asks
himself within the story.

Your story touches on the storyline
of The Peaceful Warrior. Watch the
video or read it. Tap into how they
describe this story as well as the ones
you've mentioned.

Have a Merry Christmas!
