Otto [the octopus] 'complained' about the lack of visitors by giving us a hard time and constantly seeking our attention - he juggled the hermit crabs in his aquarium, threw rocks at the aquarium glass, confiscated scrubbers with which we tried to clean his exhibit from the inside and decided not to give them back and finally we found him sitting on the edge of his exhibit shooting water at the lights which caused the constant power cuts.

We tried to keep him busy by giving him jars with crabs and by playing with him as often as we could but obviously this wasn't enough. So if you have any other ideas on how to keep Otto happy or what other toys we can give/build him be sure to let us know!

LOL! I'd love to see the trouble maker. Otto seems very intelligent and creative in finding ways to entertain himself.

For God's sake, find him a mate! Is that so hard to figure out?

Okay, Bravo. Mentioning girls you've known and crabs in the same post is just asking for trouble, don't you know.

Poor Otto; he's used to a lot of people looking at him and now there's no one.
He should break out and make for Hollywood and audition for a remake of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

And there was an octopus featured in a horror movie - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0221905/ - it could do that next. In fact, Otto could have all of the killer octopod movie roles locked up for himself if he played his cards right.

Juggling hermit crabs? I'm sorry, but that's just -

I read somewhere that octopuses are also champion escape artists...
