Hey, just wondering if you guys think it's a turn off for a story to follow an ensemble cast who lives weave together to tell the whole story (think like the movie Crash) as opposed to just following two or three main characters?

Personally, it often makes me annoyed when the story starts following around a non-main character. The worst is when it follows around a character who is not the MC right in the beginning and I wind up thinking that they're the MC.
My advice is to tread cautiously.
